To ensure effective communication, faculty members are required to use Blackboard and their Angelo State-issued email addresses for all class-related correspondence. According to the Angelo State University Acceptable Use of Information Resources policy, the @angelo.edu email address is the only acceptable email for official university business. Faculty email accounts are automatically generated after the hiring process is complete.
Students are notified via the Student Handbook that the official mode of communication for ASU is via their @angelo.edu email and faculty should request students only communicate through their official @angelo.edu email account.
