State Authorization
State authorizations are important for Angelo State University students outside the state of Texas. The National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) provides access to educational opportunities by streamlining regulations around distance education programs. This provides students protections that coursework from one state will be recognized in another state. This is particularly important regarding national licensures and certifications.
As a NC-SARA member institution, Angelo State University is committed to clear and transparent communication to assist students with information needed to make educational decisions. For additional information regarding Angelo State University’s membership in NC-SARA or professional licensure/certification information, visit the State Authorization page.
