Profile Widgets

Profile widgets can be used to add a list of faculty and staff or department contact information to any page. Profile widgets come in several different versions.

Faculty/Staff Widgets

By default, these widgets will display all of the faculty and staff profiles in the group that owns the page on which it is placed. However, all of the examples below can be customized:

• Add a tag, such as “Faculty” or “Staff”, to limit which type of profiles should be displayed.
• Add a group to display profiles from a specific group.
• Include a search term to filter the list even further.

Note: You can add a group and search for the name of a specific employee in that group in order to insert this widget with a single result.

Faculty Staff Profiles

The Faculty Staff Profiles widget displays a list of faculty and staff with contact information, including name, title, email, phone, and office location. The following widget has specified a group of “Web Services”.

Faculty Staff Profiles with Photo

The Faculty Staff Profiles with Photo widget is the same as above, but it also includes employees’ photos when available.

Faculty Staff Profiles - Simple

The Faculty Staff Profiles - Simple widget is a text-only version that can be used in situations where the colors and layout of the above options are not appropriate.

Department Widgets

The following widgets are designed for displaying the contact information for a specific department. By default, however, these widgets will display contact information for all departments. When adding one of these widgets, you must add a tag corresponding to the department you want to display.

Departmental Contact Information by Tag

The Departmental Contact Information by Tag widget displays contact information for the tagged department, including email, phone, and address. The following widget has included a tag of “Admissions”.

Departmental Contact Information by Tag - Contact Page

This variation is designed specifically to go at the top of Contact Us pages that also contain faculty/staff widgets in order to differentiate them from each other.

Departmental Contact Information by Tag - Simple

This widget is a text-only version that can be used in situations where the colors and layout of the above options are not appropriate, for example, when used in the Quick Links Block.
