Galleries

Image Galleries can be created in the LiveWhale backend by navigating to Images > Galleries. Create a new Gallery or edit an existing one to add/arrange images and captions.

Once a Gallery is created, it can be added to pages in several ways.

Link

Galleries can be linked to as a standalone page. Copy a Gallery’s URL in the Gallery Editor and add it as a link in the page editor.

Inline Galleries

Inline galleries come in two styles and can be added to pages from the editor toolbar.

1. Click Insert in the editor toolbar and choose Slideshow.
2. Use the search options to find and select the gallery you want to show.
3. In the Style dropdown, choose one of the following options.
4. Click Insert this Slideshow to add the slideshow widget to your page.

Thumbnails

The “Thumbnails” style displays the name of the gallery followed by small thumbnails of all of the images in the gallery. Clicking one of the thumbnails will open a fullscreen slideshow.

Commencement Photos

Carousel

The “Carousel” style displays all of the images in the gallery with their captions in a carousel with left/right navigation and dots representing the number of images.
