ASU Wins U.S. Department of Defense Grant for Cybersecurity Project
Angelo State University has received a $299,999 grant subaward from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) through Texas Tech University for a joint project to develop a cybersecurity research and workforce development program to tackle defense-relevant challenges in the region.

ASU Earns National Cybersecurity Academic Excellence Designation
Angelo State University has been designated a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) by the National Security Agency (NSA) and will retain the designation at least through the 2029 academic year.

Angelo State University’s pilot Regional Security Operations Center (RSOC) has earned a 2024 Project Excellence Award from the Texas Association of State Systems for Computing and Communications (TASSCC) and was presented the award at the recent TASSCC Annual Conference in Houston.
