CS students attend the Undergraduate Research Symposium

Senior Computer Science students presented their research results in Angelo State University’s Annual Research Symposium. The Undergraduate Research Symposium took place on Monday, April 26 in the CJ Davidson Conference Center from noon to 1:30 pm.
Four students participated in the event and presented their results. Their research is supervised by Computer Science professor and chair Dr. Erdo?an Do?du.
- “Predicting the Spread of COVID-19 Pandemic Using Machine Learning Models on Twitter Data” by Minh (Mia) Huynh,
- “Political Polarization on Twitter” by Zachary German
- “Covid-19 Tweets and Politics” by Duc Huy Nguyen
- “Intelligent IoT Network Security on Embedded Systems” by Thai Ly
Mia and Zachary’s research are supported by the Undergraduate Research Faculty-Mentored Grant program.
