USPS Priority Mail
All outgoing mail and packages, must have a return address including the name of the individual that is sending the item.
Priority Mail is used for documents, gifts and merchandise. Any mail-able item may be sent as Priority Mail. The maximum weight is 70 pounds. The maximum size is 108 inches or less in combined length and distance around the thickest part. Mark each package “Priority Mail” in the postage area or use a Priority Mail envelope or box.
Features
Priority Mail offers 2-3-day delivery service to most domestic destinations. Priority Mail envelopes, labels and boxes are available at no additional charge at most post offices or by ordering from ASU Mail Services.
Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope
Regardless of weight or destination, you can use a Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope provided by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS).
ASU Mail Services has in stock assorted sizes of padded envelopes, manila envelopes, small boxes and packaging material for your fragile items and items that might be shipped at a cheaper rate. Stock on hand is subject to change without notice.
Priority Mail is not a guaranteed service.
Schedule
Currently, USPS collects all outgoing mail once daily at 3:15 p.m. All outgoing USPS mail brought to Mail Services by 2:30 p.m. will be processed the same day. However, unusual peak periods, equipment down time, and situations beyond our control could cause your mail processing to be delayed, though this is not a common occurrence.
