ASU Spirit Team Interest Application

We’re excited that you’re interested in being part of the ASU Spirit Team!

To qualify, incoming freshmen must be admitted to ASU. Students transferring from another college or university must be admitted to ASU and have a GPA of at least 2.0. Current ASU students must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher, be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours and be in good standing with the university.

The Spirit Team will do the following:

  • Attend a set amount of volleyball, soccer, softball, baseball, football and basketball games in the stands.
  • At games, they will:
    • Help hand out promo items.
    • Lead cheers in the student section.
    • Yell cheers and chants with the Cheer Team.
  • Attend select Admissions, Office of Development, Alumni and San Angelo community events.
  • Attend two hours of study hall a week.
  • Attend one gameday practice a week with the cheer team to review gameday materials.
