Parking Information for Students
Whether you live on or off campus, if you are bringing a vehicle to campus with you, a parking permit is required to park on campus.
Purchasing Parking Permits
If you’ve been admitted to Angelo State, you can purchase your parking permit through RamPort or in person at Parking Services.
How to Purchase a Parking Permit Online
Temporary parking permits may be printed out. Your hang tag can be picked up at Parking Services two weeks before the start of the semester.
If you plan to live on campus, but do not have your housing assignment yet, you will not be able to purchase your parking permit online. Please visit Parking Services before the semester begins.
Please note, purchasing a permit does not guarantee a parking space on campus.
Parking Permit Prices
- $72 for the full year (August-August) or $50 per semester for “B” and “C” permits
- $120 for the full year (August-August) for “D” permits.
- $130 for Combination (car/ motorcycle) “B” and “C” permits for the full year (August-August) or $80 per semester
Parking Permit Zones
Parking lots on the Angelo State campus are divided into five zones: A, B, C, D and General Use.
Zone A is reserved from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday for faculty and staff.
Zone B is reserved from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday for students who commute to campus.
Zone C is reserved from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday for students who live on campus.
Zone D is reserved from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday for students who commute to campus with permits for the specific lot.
Zone A/B/C/D is considered general use. Anyone with a valid ASU parking permit may park in these zones.
Additional Information
Your hang tag should be placed on your rear-view mirror with the permit number and zone letter facing the front of the windshield. Make sure your permit is clearly visible from the front of the vehicle and is not obscured by any other items that may be hanging from the mirror.
Lost or stolen permits should be reported immediately to Parking Services, and a report needs to be made with the ASU Police Department. A damaged permit may be replaced at no charge, if the pieces showing the permit number are returned to Parking Services.
