Maria Kerry, 2019-2020

Maria Kerry Maria was hired by the University Police Department as a dispatcher in April 2019. Ms. Kerry attended the regional law enforcement academy where she graduated and successfully passed the Texas Law Enforcement Commission’s state exam.

The police department appointed Maria as a police officer in January 2020. She is currently serving in a dual role as dispatcher and patrol officer. Officer Kerry assists with dispatching duties when needed, but otherwise is assigned to the patrol division as a police officer. Maria is a graduate of Wall High School and is currently attending classes at Angelo State University.

Officer Kerry has demonstrated an eagerness to learn and is known as a team player who is willing to help in any way possible. She is considered a great asset to the University Police Department.
