Science Education 
My major area of interest is in the behavior of humans, particularly in educational settings. My research has focused on effects of gender, major, class standing and teaching style on participation in introductory biology labs.

Mammalogy 
I also am interested in the relationships among hair structure, habitat and taxonomy in mammals.

I currently have research opportunities available for any student interested in doing a research project involving student behavior and group composition.
