SSgt Devin Amaral

SSgt Devin Amaral is the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of Administration for the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 847, at Angelo University, San Angelo, Texas. He is responsible for managing several areas of administrative support for the detachment, to include coordination with United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine and Air Force Personnel Center in support of career progression for Air Force Officer Candidates.

Staff Sergeant Amaral entered the United States Air Force in August 2016 at the Boston, Massachusetts Military Entrance Processing Station. Completing Administration training in December of 2016, he has served in a variety of positions, including a deployment as the Commander’s Executive Assistant for the 455th Expeditionary Maintenance Group, Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan; as Postal Clerk for the 379th Expeditionary Force Support Squadron, Al-Udeid Air Base, Qatar; and as Lead Commander’s Support Staff for the 43d Intelligence Squadron Detachment, Kadena Air Base, Japan.
