Arnold Air Society Requirements

Angelo State’s AFROTC Det. 847 is supported by chapters of the Arnold Air Society and Silver Wings. Students join both groups by invitation only.

To meet requirements for the Robert G. Carr Squadron of the Arnold Air Society, you must:
- Have at least a 2.5 GPA
- Score at least an 80 on the PFA and meet physical standards
- Be active in the cadet corps and have necessary leadership qualities
- Receive an invitation from AAS and complete the post-training program
- Pass the AAS national test
To meet requirements for the Robert G. Carr Squadron Silver Wings, you must:
- Be an undergraduate or graduate student at ASU
- Complete informational and military workshops
- Attend a chapter service project
- Plan and execute a service project
- Pass the Silver Wings national test
