How to Pay Your Bill

In order for parents or other individuals to view the tuition and fee details of their student’s bill, students must give them FERPA/Proxy Access.

Students

1. Log in to RamPort.
2. Navigate to the Paying for College > Student Accounts page.
3. Select “FERPA/Proxy Access” under the “Designating Authorized Users” section.
4. Click “Add Authorized User.”
5. Type in the required information for your authorized user, including that user’s valid email address, and click the “Add Authorized User” button.
6. Click the “Expand” button to set up the relationship and description of the authorized user.
7. Click the “Authorization” tab and select the “Billing” checkbox.

Once you set up an authorized user, ASU faculty and staff can discuss your educational and financial records with them.

Parents and Authorized Users

Students must initiate the process described above to set you up as an Authorized User with FERPA/Proxy access. Once the student sets up your account, you will receive an email with further instructions. Access is NOT GRANTED until the Authorized User completes the instructions in the email.

After you have completed the account setup, you can sign in at the Proxy Login to view your student’s bill.

In order for parents or other individuals to pay their student’s bill online, students must add them as Web Pay Authorized Users.

Students

1. Log in to RamPort.
2. Navigate to the Paying for College > Student Accounts page.
3. Select “Web Pay Authorized Users” under the “Designating Authorized Users” section.
4. Enter the email address of the person you want to add and click “Add User.”
   • New users are marked as “pending” until they have been synced to our payment system, which can take up to 24 hours.
   • From this page, you can also disable, enable or delete existing users, and you can resend a payment link to any active users.

When payments are due, any users you have authorized will automatically receive an email containing a link for them to pay your bill.

Parents and Authorized Users

When a student adds you as a web pay authorized user, you will receive a confirmation email. Please note that it can take up to 24 hours from this point to begin receiving payment notifications.

Once you have been added, you will receive notification emails when payments are due for your student’s bill. These emails contain a link that allows you to pay your student’s bill. You do not need a separate user name or password to log in. Simply click the link in the email to directly access the payment system.

If you have been authorized to pay multiple students’ bills, you will receive separate emails with links to pay each individually.

If you lose a payment notification email, your student can send a new payment link (see above).

If you do not wish to receive payment notifications for your student, you may click the “unsubscribe” link in any of the confirmation or payment notification emails.

ASU financial aid packages, as well as the ASU Distinguished Scholarship and ASU general scholarships, are applied automatically to your bill. The amount you’re awarded is split between the fall and spring semesters.

You have the option to pay your bill each semester in full or through an installment plan. Installment plans allow you to make four payments over the course of the semester. A $30 non-refundable fee is assessed if you choose to use an installment plan.

What is the claims process like?
