Professional Student Dispositions

Effective Professionals = Content Knowledge + Skills + Dispositions

Dispositions can be defined synonymously with character as “the aggregate of moral qualities by which a person is judged apart from intelligence, competence, or special talents” (Merriam-Webster, n.d.). Professional Dispositions are evaluated on an ongoing basis by faculty, staff, field supervisors, site supervisors, and community partners. A candidate is a representative of the ASU College of Education no matter the setting and is expected to act accordingly.
