Refund Options and Status
When you receive your ASU OneCard, you will be required to select a refund option. This is where your financial aid refund (if applicable) will be disbursed.
Your refund options include:
Deposit to an Existing Account
Money is transferred to an existing account the same business day BankMobile receives funds from the university. Typically, it takes one to two business days for the receiving bank to credit the money to your account.
Deposit to a BankMobile Vibe Checking Account
If you open a BankMobile Vibe checking account (upon identity verification), money is deposited the same business day BankMobile receives funds from the university.
For more information about your refund choices, log in to your account at asuone.com or call the OneCard Office at 325-942-2331.
To change your refund status, follow these directions:
*Class Day refers to the number of days in a semester, not the actual number of class meetings. For example, if a semester starts on a Monday and class meets MWF, Friday is the 5th Class Day since it is the 5th day of the semester.
Dropping a course(s) (but maintaining enrollment) within the first 12 class days of a 16 week course, the first 6 class days of a 8 week course, the first 4 class days of a 5 or 6 week course, or the first 2 class days of a 3 week course may create refund eligibility of applicable tuition and fees for the course(s) dropped by 5:00 p.m.. If applicable, a student will receive a refund within 40 days after the drop period has ended for the semester or term.
Withdrawal from the University is defined as leaving the University for the semester and being officially removed from all classes. Students must complete and submit the Course Drop and Withdrawal Request Form to be officially removed from classes. Students who do not complete the withdrawal process by the appropriate deadline will be assigned a grade in each of their classes. Students officially withdrawing from the university are eligible for a refund of tuition and fees according to the following schedule. (Class days indicated below are defined by the official university calendar – not the student’s individual schedule.)
