First opened in 1977, the ASU Lake House sits right on the banks of nearby Lake Nasworthy. It is a popular student hangout that offers a wide variety of activities and equipment, plus areas to just relax and unwind.
For many years, the Lake House was also the site for the annual Welcome Back Picnic for ASU faculty and staff at the start of each fall semester. Now, it plays a key role in Rambunctious Week activities that welcome students to campus every fall.
It’s also a great place to watch San Angelo’s annual 4th of July fireworks show over the lake!
