Angelo State Adds New Helicopter Pilot Degree Track
May 28, 2025 - Angelo State University students can now train to become helicopter pilots through a new Flight Operations – Helicopter degree track in ASU’s Bachelor of Commercial Aviation (B.C.A.) program that is now accepting students into the new track for the upcoming fall semester.

2025 Staff Excellence Awards Winners
May 22, 2025 - Four Angelo State University staff members – Antonio Gallegos Jr., Scott Gartman, Mary Garza and Brittney Miller – have earned the 2024-25 President’s Awards for Staff Excellence, and another – Jason Brown – has received the annual Chancellor’s Colonel Rowan Award for Execution.

May 7, 2025 - Alejandro Rodarte-Martinez, a biology major from San Angelo, has been selected to receive Angelo State University’s 2025 Presidential Award as the top graduate in his class, while five other ASU graduating seniors have been selected for 2025 Distinguished Student Awards from their respective academic colleges.
