Local Firms Recruit ASU Students at ‘Meet the Accounting Firms’ Event

Angelo State accounting students had the opportunity to meet and mingle with representatives of multiple local accounting firms at the “Meet the Accounting Firms” recruiting event hosted on Nov. 1 by the ASU Norris-Vincent College of Business in the Houston Harte University Center.
Nov. 1 also marked the beginning of the fall recruiting period for ASU accounting students seeking:
- Internships for the spring or summer of 2025
- Full-time employment for students graduating in December 2024 or May 2025
The students were also able to upload their résumés and have them sent to the attending accounting firms prior to meeting with their representatives at the event.
The accounting firms in attendance included:

- Bolinger, Segars, Gilber & Moss LLP
- Condley and Company LLP
- Eide Bailly LLP
- Hamby & Hengeli LLC
- Oliver, Rainey & Wotjek LLP
- Shelburne Financial Services
- Whitley Penn
After meeting with the ASU accounting students, the firms’ representatives were encouraged to invite prospective recruits to off-campus events, including office visits, mixers, socials and interviews.
