In Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night,” Viola is shipwrecked and believes her twin brother, Sebastian, has drowned. To survive, she disguises herself as a boy named Cesario and becomes a servant to Duke Orsino. Orsino, who is in love with Countess Olivia, sends Cesario to court her. However, Olivia falls in love with Cesario instead. Sebastian eventually arrives, leading to a series of mistaken identities and comedic situations.
