Our STEM Outreach program strives to engage underserved schools and communities with hands-on, inclusive learning experiences that will inspire scientific curiosity, promote STEM literacy, and connect diverse talents to future majors and careers.

Students can register to live in our Plaza Verde residence hall, where you can join a community of STEM majors who connect with mentors and participate in undergraduate research. Please contact Housing and Residential Programs for more information.

Lab Nights

These FREE events are hosted by the College of Science and Engineering to bring families, schools and clubs into our classrooms and laboratories while you participate in fun activities with Angelo State faculty and staff. They are hosted every October and February.

Field Trips

We can design a STEM-inspiring visit to campus for your students! Choose from our award-winning ASU Planetarium, our innovative labs, the Greenhouse and various campus tours. Please contact stem-outreach@angelo.edu for more information.

Teacher Training

We provide summer training opportunities for STEM educators through the Region XV Education Service Center. Contact Region XV ESC for more information.

STEM Command Center

Our STEM Command Center is a traveling classroom equipped with advanced technology and hands-on learning tools to bring STEM education to various communities. It provides students with interactive experiences using resources like virtual reality, robotics and lab equipment, making STEM more engaging and accessible.
