Location: Cavness Building, Room 200
Purpose: to provide an opportunity for science-oriented students to become better acquainted with all aspects concerning the field of chemistry and biochemistry as it relates to the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at ASU. These aspects shall include recent advances in research, establishing relationships with science faculty and students at ASU, and developing a professional pride in chemistry and biochemistry.
The American Chemical Society (ACS) is a national organization for chemists. The ACS website contains information that ranges from professional meetings and networking opportunities to publications and careers in chemistry. Our department is host to one of the best ACS Student chapters in the nation. The ASU group has received awards from the national ACS every year since 2003.
