Texas Essential Academic Skills (TEAS)

The TEAS is an examination designed to measure reading comprehension, English skills (such as grammar and punctuation), reading rate, basic math skills and science knowledge.  TEAS is the required entrance exam for the ASU nursing program, as well as a required entrance exam for Nursing programs at numerous colleges/universities. 

Registration

The TEAS will be proctored “In-Person” in the ASU Testing Center. Students register and pay for the TEAS online at  ATI Testing.

When registering, select “In-Person” test option and follow these steps: PROGRAM TYPE = TEAS for Nursing Students; SEARCH BY = School Name; STATE = TX; SCHOOL = Angelo State U. Register for the date you wish to test.
