Summer Camps and Conferences
Angelo State University offers a variety of camps, clinics, workshops and conferences in the summer for kids of all ages.
June 19-June 21
Grades 3-8
This camp is all about working on the fundamentals! We will focus on the basic offensive and defensive skills that you need as a basketball player. We will focus on shooting, ball handling, passing, defense and live play. This is a great opportunity to enhance your skills and take home some great drills to work on at home!
June 21-June 22
Girls Age 8-12
Our goal is to introduce campers to the experience of playing elite level college soccer. We provide college-level training sessions, coaching and player evaluation. We aim to do this in a fun, competitive and positive environment. All meals are included.
June 23-June 25
Boys Grades 3-8
The full day basketball camp is for grades 3-8, looking to learn and improve their basketball skills. All teaching and instructing will be done by Angelo State coaches and players. Each athlete will experience a great learning environment as they continue to grow their knowledge and ability.

June 29-June 29
Boys Grades 9-12
This basketball camp is focused on teaching the fundamentals of the greatest game ever invented. Campers will receive detailed instruction on how to improve every aspect of their game. All teaching will be done in a fun atmosphere. Students will receive an education from Angelo State players, coaches and former/current professional players, while learning amongst campers of their own skill level.

July 6-July 11
Students Entering Grades 10 and 11
Discovery Camp 10.0 and 11.0 is designed for students entering 10th and 11th grades this August who are interested in exploring an exciting and rewarding career in nursing.

July 7-July 11-July 25, M-F
Students entering grades 6, 7 or 8 in fall 2025
The focus of Robotics Camp 2023 will be on building and programming robots using the LEGO® Mindstorms Environment. Robotics Camp will enrich students’ skills to be leaders, communicators, problem solvers, and coders of robotics. Robotics Camp is Free to all participants.

July 7-July 11
Grades 6-8
Join the ASU Mayer Museum for a week-long camp filled with science, art, theater and outdoor adventure. Campers will dive into hands-on activities, make new friends and explore new ideas in a fun, supportive environment.

July 8-July 9
Grades 9-12
These camps will focus on position specific skill training. It is geared toward the athlete with strong fundamental skills that wants to take the next step in their training. The staff will provide training for the positions of setters, hitters and anyone that is interested in improving their individual defense including liberos, defensive specialists, outside hitters, middle hitters and setters.
July 9-July 12
Ages 6-15
The full day camp is a four-day camp for boys and girls ages 6-15 of all skill levels. The camp is designed to develop players technically and tactically. Campers will be able to practice proper technique when shooting, passing, receiving, dribbling, defending, etc.

July 14-July 18
Grades 6-8
Join the ASU Mayer Museum for a week-long camp filled with science, art, theater and outdoor adventure. Campers will dive into hands-on activities, make new friends and explore new ideas in a fun, supportive environment.
July 15-July 17
Grades K-8
This camp provides students with the opportunity to develop and improve their football skills. The Ram coaching staff will be on hand to instruct campers on drills, fundamentals and technique training of individual positions. This camp encourages each camper to develop new skills and achieve a new level of play and self-confidence!

July 19-July 19
Grades 9-12
Campers will have the chance to develop and improve their football skills. Our expert coaches will guide them through fun drills and teach top techniques for every position. They’ll build new skills and boost their confidence on and off the field. Don’t miss out!

July 21-July 25
Grades 3-5
Join the ASU Mayer Museum for a week-long camp filled with science, art, theater and outdoor adventure. Campers will dive into hands-on activities, make new friends and explore new ideas in a fun, supportive environment.
July 26-July 27
Grades 9-12 Varsity & JV Teams
During this camp there will be basic offensive and defensive instruction followed by normal match play. It is a great opportunity to see and work with your team before preseason practices begin. Tryout new line-ups, see how your younger players have developed over the summer. There will be Varsity and JV Divisions.
