Class of 2025 Top Graduates
May 7Alejandro Rodarte-Martinez, a biology major from San Angelo, has been selected to receive Angelo State University’s 2025 Presidential Award as the top graduate in his class, while five other ASU graduating seniors have been selected for 2025 Distinguished Student Awards from their respective academic colleges.

Faculty Receive TTU System Chancellor’s Council Distinguished Teaching and Research Awards

Engineering Professor Wins U.S. Department of Energy Research Grant
March 5Dr. Mohammad Shafinul Haque of Angelo State University’s mechanical engineering faculty has been awarded a $627,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for a collaborative research project with the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) in Illinois dealing with high-entropy alloys (HEAs).
