What kind of student are you?
First-time College Students
If you have no college credit or you earned college credit before graduating high school, you are a first-time freshman.
Your Steps
- Complete an application.
- Pay the application fee or request a fee waiver.
- Submit your official high school transcript.
Transfer Students
If you have attended another college or university and want to come to Angelo State, you are a transfer student.
Your Steps
- Complete an application.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee.
- Submit your transcripts from every college/university attended.
Graduate and Doctoral Students
If you already have an undergraduate degree and are looking to pursue your master’s, you are a graduate student. If you are pursuing a doctorate degree, you are a doctoral student.
Your Steps
- Complete an application.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee.
- Submit your transcript(s) from your undergraduate institution.
- Verify additional admissions requirements.
International Students
If you are a student who lives outside of the United States, you are an international student.
Your Steps
- Complete an application.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee.
- Submit your transcript(s) to Angelo State.
- Demonstrate English language proficiency.
- Submit Official Financial Statement Form
Military and Veterans
We’re here to make your transition into higher education as seamless as possible.
Your Steps
- Complete an application.
- Request your transcripts from all colleges/universities attended, as well as an applicable military transcripts.
- Get in touch with the VETS Center to access your education award.
Dual Credit Students
If you want to take college classes while still in high school, you are a dual credit student.
Your Steps
- Complete and submit an online dual credit application.
- Request your high school transcript and all test scores be sent to ASU.
