Social Work B.S.W. Admission
All students intending to major in Social Work must submit a formal application and be officially admitted to the Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.) program. Admission is required to enroll in upper-division social work courses and to participate in the field education component of the program.

B.S.W. Application
To apply for the B.S.W. program, students must first demonstrate academic readiness. Once your academic advisor confirms your eligibility, they will notify the Social Work Department. The department will then send the official B.S.W. application to your ASU email account.
Prerequisites
In order for your Social Work advisor to send an email invitation to submit your B.S.W. application, students must complete the following courses:
- Introduction to Social Work
- Theory and Practice
- 2.50 on all social work courses
Application Deadline: It is your responsibility to ensure your completed application is submitted by the deadline: September 1.
