What Can You Do With a Mass Media Degree?
Earning your ASU mass media degree will open doors for you into a wide variety of media careers, or prepare you for graduate school.
Our graduates enjoy careers across the U.S. as TV anchors, reporters, producers, journalists, and in public relations, advertising and video production.
Practical Experience
Gain hands-on experience in our on-campus Ram TV station, Ram TV Sports Broadcasting program, Ram Radio internet radio station and/or Ram Page student newspaper. You can also intern at local companies, nonprofit agencies, media outlets, production companies and advertising agencies.
Networking Opportunities
Network with media professionals at campus, state and regional seminars. You can also study media while you enjoy European culture in our summer study abroad program.
Innovative Campus Facilities
Our facilities boast a fully operational live television studio, as well as new, state-of-the-art video production equipment. Our live broadcasts of ASU sports are a great way to learn the technical aspects of TV production. Plus, our Ram Page newspaper has gone fully digital, and we have all the gear you need to produce your own radio show.
