What Can You Do With a Management Degree?

Earning a bachelor’s degree in business management will open career doors for you in many management settings. Our graduates currently hold leadership positions at companies like iMedia Brands, Lexington Realty Trust, TCP Software and other major corporations.

Plus, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that employment opportunities for project management specialists, marketing managers, HR managers and medical/health service managers are expected to increase significantly over the next 10 years, adding thousands of high-paying jobs.

Practical Experiences

We offer many opportunities for internships, and we have a dedicated internship coordinator to help you find the right internship to meet your goals. You can also compete in our student BizPitch Contest and/or the San Angelo Business Plan Competition, and you can apply to sharpen your management skills in our Housley Principled Leadership Program. Plus, we have multiple smart classrooms and our own computer lab.

You can join our chapter of the Delta Sigma Pi national professional business fraternity, which has won multiple regional and national awards. You’ll enjoy networking and professional development activities, as well as attending regional and national conferences. You’ll also have access to all the services in our Center for Student Success to help you achieve your academic and professional goals.

Global Perspective

You can expand your knowledge of management practices in the international marketplace on our annual summer study abroad trip to Europe. You’ll visit cities in nine European countries that host numerous multinational corporations and other international organizations. You’ll also get to visit a variety of historical sites to truly broaden your horizons.
