Do you want to help others get fit or improve their physical performance?
Are you interested in being a fitness professional or a strength and conditioning coach? Maybe you see yourself as a physical or occupational therapist, chiropractor or cardiac rehabilitation specialist. If any of these ideas really grabs your attention, then you should consider declaring an exercise science major.
Our program offers two concentrations, Clinical Exercise Science or Human Performance and Fitness, so you can tailor your degree plan to fit your interests. You can take classes in everything from principles of wellness, exercise physiology and motor development - to exercise measurement and evaluation, exercise prescription, biomechanics and many other related topics. You’ll also gain practical experience through shadowing and internships - and in our modern labs and fitness facilities.
