Counseling Psychology Psy.D. Admission
The yearly application is available on Aug. 1
The Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Counseling Psychology program at Angelo State University ONLY reviews and admits applicants for the Fall semester.
In addition to the general requirements for admission to the College of Graduate Studies and Research, applicants for admission to the Psy.D. program must file a separate departmental application through the Psychology Centralized Application System (PSYCAS) to the Department of Psychology and submit the following criteria:

Prerequisites
- Must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Overall/Cumulative GPA of 3.5 for psychology coursework and an overall/cumulative GPA of 3.0. If graduate work has been completed, a minimum GPA of 3.50 is required.
- A minimum of 18 credit hours of psychology are required.
